Cosmetically, the Fazer continues with its semi-fairing and twin headlights at the front, which sets it apart from the FZ and FZ-S. Like the new FZ range, the Fazer Version 2.0 is offered with a new 149cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine which develops 12.9bhp and 12.8Nm of torque through a five-speed gearbox. The engine now comes with fuel injection for better refinement and throttle response. The front gets conventional telescopic suspension and a monoshock with a swingarm at the rear. Stopping power is courtesy a disc brake in the front and drum brake at the rear.

I hold this bike for past 2 years...had done few long drives (Chennai - Kodaikannal, Chn-OOTY) etc., Very comfortable for long drives...superior comfort...mileage in city - 54 (Shell Petrol) & highway - 57kmpl..overall satisfied with this beast

Waste of Money and Time

I think I have done a great blunder purchasing my Fazer .. It requires all time maintainance. My vehicle has only run around 15,000 Kms but has consumed almost 10,000-15,000 for it's running. Chain Sprocket to RR unit n coil base. Every time starting problem with engine heating.. I beg everyone to buy a bike which has kick start n never go for yamaha. WASTE OF MONEY- FAZER 2.0 FI

Don't buy Yamaha Fazer v2

I am using this bike for 3 years now. I have changed chain sprocket 4 to 5 times. Always we get noise in chain and services center in Chennai charges a boom every time for service. For 45000kms completion I have already spend half of the bikes price for service and changing parts
