     Buzzard which is the seven-seater version of the Harrier was also unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show this year and has been spotted testing several times in India. Tata Motors is planning to launch the H7X in India in the first quarter of 2020. The H2X or the Hornbill subcompact SUV which will be the youngest one to adorn this design language will follow the cycle and is expected to be launched in the last quarter of calendar year 2020.

    Tata Motors first showcased its premium hatchback concept – the 45X - at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo and back then we knew that a production version of the car was in the works. The company finally revealed the production version of the car in 2019 and named it Altroz. The Tata Altroz name takes inspiration from the bird Albatross and the automaker says that it’s new offering resonates with the characteristics of the seabird that includes speed, agility and efficiency.

    2020 Tata Nexon facelift has been spotted testing in India. Although heavily camouflaged, based on the exposed areas, the updated Tata Nexon appears to have gone through a considerable makeover with new, sharper styling cues, and a revised front section. The facelifted Tata Nexon subcompact SUV is expected to be introduced sometime next year, possibly after the launch of the fully-electric Nexon EV, which is slated to be launched in early 2020.

    We have recently spotted testing the upcoming fully electric Tata Nexon EV, on the outskirts of Pune, Maharashtra. Slated to be launched early next year, in the Q4 of FY 2019-2020, the new electric SUV was seen in its distinctive blue camouflage, unlike the regular white camouflage seen on the 2020 Tata Nexon facelift, which was spotted a few days ago. The electric car appears to be largely identical to the existing Tata Nexon subcompact SUV, however, this is a pre-production prototype vehicle, and the styling of the production car is likely to be different.

    The upcoming Tata H2X SUV - often referred to as the Tata Hornbill too - will be made at the company's more modern manufacturing facility in Sanand, Gujarat. This is in line with a larger strategy that will see production eventually being split across just two platforms. "Sanand is going to be a dedicated Alfa architecture plant for the lower-end of the product portfolio. We currently also produce the Tiago and Tigor - which will undergo a mid-cycle enhancement, so there we still have some time - and then we will see how this is going to translate" said Guenter Butschek, CEO, Tata Motors while speaking to carandbike in Geneva.

    Codenamed Q501, this one will be Tata Motors' most premium SUV in India. The new SUV will be positioned as a 'midsized SUV' and will be built on the older but very capable Freelander 2 platform. The new Freelander 2 based SUV will be launched in India in late 2018 and will be available in two seating configurations - a 5 or 7.
