    The Tata Harrier is the first premium SUV to come from the company’s stable. The new flagship SUV will also debut Tata's new IMPACT 2.0 design language that future Tata models based on the OMEGA and the Architecture Modular Platform (AMP) will also carry. Taking thing ahead, Tata says that the new monocoque architecture has been designed to offer optimal torsional and bending stiffness, in order build an SUV that offers superior driving dynamics in both urban as well as rough road conditions.

    Codenamed Q501, this one will be Tata Motors' most premium SUV in India. The new SUV will be positioned as a 'midsized SUV' and will be built on the older but very capable Freelander 2 platform. The new Freelander 2 based SUV will be launched in India in late 2018 and will be available in two seating configurations - a 5 or 7.

    Tata 45X is expected to feature the tried and tested 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine, the turbocharged 1.5-litre motor Revotorq oil burner. Transmission options will include both manual and automatic options, the latter possibly being an AMT unit. The production version of the Tata 45X is expected to be launch in the second half of 2019.
