    Official images of the upcoming 2020 Hyundai Verna facelift have been released. Slated to be launched later this month, the company has also opened nationwide bookings for the car, for a token of ? 25,000. This is the first mid-life facelift for the third-generation Hyundai Verna, and with this update, the car now also becomes the first connected car in the compact sedan segment, thanks to the Blue Link technology. In fact, the car will come with 45 connected car features, only 5 less than the upcoming new-gen Hyundai Creta's Blue Link system.

    To be offered with an option of three electric powertrains, Hyundai Ioniq is the first model in the world to come up with such an option. Hyundai is working on three versions of the model-Ioniq Hybrid, Ioniq Electric and Ioniq Plug-in. The hybrid and Plug-in versions will share the new kappa 1.6 litre, four cylinder, GDI petrol engine producing 104bhp along with 147Nm and will come mated to a six-speed dual clutch gearbox.

    Hyundai has officially taken the wraps off the new, third generation of the i20. It certainly looks bolder than before and that's because it follows the company's Sensuous Sportiness design language. First launched in 2008, the i20 showcases an all new style and we see that in the cascading grille up front, the sweptback headlamps and of course the integrated LED DRLs, which give it its signature look. Its visual stance is improved by its lowered roof (24mm), wider body (+30mm) and increased length (5mm), while the wheelbase has also been increased by 10mm. This is further augmented by newly-designed 17-inch alloy wheels.

    The 2020 Hyundai Tucson Facelift has been unveiled in India. The model was first showcased at the 2018 New York Auto Show and after almost two years, the SUV has finally arrived in India. There are a bunch of styling and cosmetic updates along with a long list of new features and BS6 compliant engines as well. The changes on the Tucson facelift are exhaustive. The new cascading trapezoidal grille is the centre-piece along with sharper headlamps, integrated L-shaped LED daytime running lights and a revised bumper with new fog lamp housing. The rear of the SUV gets styling updates which include new tail-light cluster, new reflectors on the tailgate which is now in-line with the number plate recess.

    Hyundai’s Alto rivalling Eon hatchback is up for an upgrade. Launched in India in October 2011, the small hatchback could not fetch desirable numbers as expected. While the fluidic design language caught attention, the hatchback was considered to be a bit overpriced. Currently the Eon line-up is available with petrol and LPG fuel options missing out on the diesel variants.
