Triumph Bonneville T120 replaces the previous T100 model in Triumph’s line-up sporting fresh appeal and rugged stance. Bonneville T120 fills the void between Thruxton and Street Twin. Significant tweaks are made on mechanical front, even the chassis has been revised thoroughly, but what has not changed much is the retro styling. For improved performance, Triumph has altered the suspension set-up, up front it gets telescopic forks and rear features twin-shocks. Safety features like anti-lock-braking system, traction control, ride-by-write throttle and slip-assist clutch are incorporated on the bike.
Triumph has not made significant change to styling; the retro look coupled with chrome work on the body-frame comes out well. Chrome accented 18 inch spoke wheels are fitted in front and rear gets 17 inch wheels. Triumph Bonneville T120 is available in four colours-cinder red, jet black, cranberry red aluminium and pure white.
Triumph Bonneville T120 Engine specifications
Power comes from the 1200cc engine which has been developed on the new liquid-cooled platform. The high-torque engine develops an increased torque of 105Nm and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. Triumph claims the new model can deliver increased fuel economy.
Triumph Bonneville T120 Competition
The bike does not have direct rival in domestic market but it will face competition from Ducati Scrambler, Harley Davidson Forty Eight and Kawasaki Z800.
