Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited has introduced an updated version of the Suzuki Gixxer SF. For 2019, the Gixxer SF gets updated styling, with the new design language which has been incorporated in the 2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF 250. The fairing is sharper and the Gixxer SF now gets a newly designed LED headlight, LED taillight and the dimensions have changed as well, and now the SF gets an updated chassis, shared with the Gixxer SF 250, as well as a new split seat, and clip-on handlebars. The new 155 cc, Suzuki Gixxer SF gets two new colours – Glass Sparkle Black and a dual-tone Metallic Sonic Silver with Glass Sparkle Black highlights.
The Gixxer SF continues to be powered by the same 155 cc, single-cylinder, SOHC, two-valve, air-cooled and fuel-injected engine which puts out 13.9 bhp of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine is mated to the same five-speed gearbox. The new Suzuki Gixxer SF now weighs 146 kg, a full 6 kg more than the older model, and the overall dimensions have also changed. Overall length, width, height and seat height have decreased, but the new Gixxer SF has a slightly longer wheelbase, which has increased by 10 mm. The ergonomics have become sportier, thanks to the new clip-ons. The 2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF is priced at just under Rs. 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
