Suzuki has launched the Burgman 125 cc scooter in India with a price tag of Rs. 68,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The scooter is a first-of-its-kind maxi-scooter boasting of a big, bulky size, 14-inch wheels and loaded with a range of features. The Suzuki Burgman 125 offers a fuel tank capacity of 5.6 litres.

The Suzuki Burgman Street 125 shares its underpinnings including the engine with Suzuki's bestselling scooter, Access 125, which is powered by a 124 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine tuned to produce 8.6 bhp at 7000 rpm and 10.2 Nm of peak torque at 5000 rpm. The all-new Burgman Street 125 returns 53 kmpl of claimed fuel-efficiency.

The Burgman 125 shares some components with the Gixxer motorcycle series including the all-LCD instrument console. The exhaust muffler gets a unique design too and stands out from the rest of the scooters.
