It has been a few months since Suzuki had launched the new Access 125. Unfortunately, the scooter did not do too well for Suzuki, thanks to some tough competition from other brands. But when we rode the scooter, we liked the peppy engine and a decent list of features on it. In an attempt to increase the sales of the Access 125, Suzuki has launched a special edition of the same across India with prices starting at ₹ 55,589 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The scooter gets no mechanical changes but gets a few cosmetic updates that give the scooter a retro charm.

On the occasion, Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle India said, "The Access125 has been one of our most successful models. We have enhanced the fashion quotient and introduced the Access 125 Special Edition to diversify our presence in the segment and cater to the evolving needs of our customers. The Access 125 Special Edition is an indivisible combination of substance and style which gives it a retro feel and make it stand out in the crowd."

The chrome detailing from the standard version continues on the special edition too with chrome finishing on the headlamp unit, aluminium as well as a chrome cover for the exhaust. Other features remain the same including analog-digital instrument cluster, self-start, under seat storage, one-press lock system and a mobile charging point.
