The Renault Captur is designed as a crossover using the automaker's global design language. The car will be positioned as a premium offering and according to Renault, there will be no base variant, which is no the same strategy that the company used when it launched the car in the Brazilian and the Russian markets. The Renault Captur measures 4329 mm in length, 1813 mm in width and 1619 mm in height. The crossover is slightly longer than the Duster, while being narrower and shorter in height. Though slightly longer, it has the same wheelbase as the Duster and so expect similar space at the rear. The model has a ground clearance of 210 mm which is the same as the Duster.
In fact it even shares its engines with the duster. the Captur comes with 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol puts out 104 bhp while the diesel churns out 108. It's a stylish crossover in appearance and looks quite upmarket as well with the Renault family grille upfront, dual-tone alloy wheels and the all-LED headlamps and taillights.
The car will be launched in October this year and we look forward to what it'll be priced at
