A month later, Mahindra hiked the prices of the Mojo by Rs 5,000 to Rs 1.63 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), but initially it was made available only in select dealerships in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru. The Mojo is now available across the length and breadth of the country and in a total of 14 states.

Vinod Sahay, Chief Operating Officer, Mahindra Two Wheelers said, "The Mojo is one of the most exciting products from the Mahindra Two Wheelers stable. Taking this sentiment forward, the bike will now be available across 14 states and 34 dealerships, thus making it possible for more consumers to have access to a superior touring bike."

Mahindra Two Wheelers is also promoting communities of Mojo riders in cities where the bike is available, called the Mojo Tribe.

"The Mojo Tribe will provide a platform for Mojo owners to share their riding experiences and plan similar trails with fellow members. Owners can also share live updates via our exclusive Mojo Tribe Mobile App," Sahay added.

The Mahindra Mojo is powered by a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled 295cc engine, with 27bhp on tap and 30Nm of peak torque. Mated to a six-speed gearbox, the Mojo competes against the likes of the Honda CBR250R, KTM Duke 390, and based on the price alone, even the Royal Enfield Himalayan.

The Mahindra Mojo offers a long list of features - headlights with LED daytime running lights, under engine cowl, dual-tone seat, LED tail lamp, an instrument panel with integrated lap timer, 17-inch alloy wheels shod with high quality Pirelli Diablo Rosso tyres.

We have already reviewed the Mojo, and in day to day use, the bike has proven to be a comfortable bike to handle in the city, despite its size and large proportions. With a refined engine which has a strong mid-range, the Mojo promises to be an able highway cruiser as well.
