While the design remains the same, the Mahindra Gusto RS gets a new paint scheme. New colour scheme includes red and white, as well as blue and white colour options available with body graphics and RS badging. The colour scheme looks completely different from the single-tone options available on the standard model.

Mechanically, the scooter remains the same and power comes from the 109.6 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that is tuned to produce 8 bhp of power and 9 Nm of peak torque. The motor is paired to a CVT unit. The suspension setup includes telescopic forks up front and a coil type setup at the rear. Braking performance comes from 130 mm drum brakes at the front and rear.

The Mahindra Gusto competes in a highly competitive segment against the likes of the Honda Activa 4G, TVS Jupiter, Hero Maestro Edge among others. The Gusto does not bring the kind of volumes as its rivals do, but the RS could add some freshness to the model.
