Mahindra Gusto 125, the popular 125cc scooter from the home-grown two-wheeler manufacturer has been launched in 8 more states in India. Priced between Rs 48,410 and Rs 55,110 (ex-showroom), the Gusto 125 was initially launched only in South India. Thanks to increasing popularity, Mahindra Two-wheelers has now introduced the scooter is other states as well including - Maharashtra, Gujarat and Delhi. The Gusto 125 is expected to be available across dealerships, pan-India very soon.
As of now, the states where Mahindra Gusto 125 will be available for sale include - Gujarat, Delhi, Maharashtra, Goa, UP, Punjab, Chandigarh, and Rajasthan in addition to Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu. Talking about the development, Vinod Sahay, Chief Operating Officer, Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd. said, "Since its launch last year, Gusto has grown consistently and we are now excited about extending the Gusto brand into include new consumer segments."
Developed completely in-house at the bike maker's R&D Centre in Pune, the Gusto 125 is based on the same frame as the Gusto 110, but gets a newly developed engine along with a host of other upgrades. The scooter offers stylish features like - LED pilot lamps, folding key, height adjustable seat, find-me lamp among other bits that were its highlights in our review. On the other hand the equipment list is also equally impressive with telescopic forks at the front and hydraulic shocks at the rear; whereas braking duties are taken care of by 130mm front and rear drum brakes. A disc brake variant is also said to be on the cards. The scooter is powered by a 124.6cc M-TEC engine with MCDi technology that now produces 8.5bhp of power at 7000rpm and 10Nm of torque at 5500rpm. The engine is mated to a CVT gearbox.

The company has also announced that the Gusto 125 will be launched globally across Asia and Central America.
