Bringing an end to months of speculations and more lately teaser images and videos, Honda Motorcycle has finally pulled wraps off the all-new CBR1000RR Fireblade at Intermot and the iconic litre-class looks sharper than ever, not to forget there are now two new additional versions over the stock model - SP and SP2.

Built for the 2017 model year, Honda's flagship motorcycle brand hits the 25th anniversary milestone, making the celebrations all the more special. While the Japanese bike maker has not revealed the specifications on the stock version, here is what the SP and SP2 have to offer.

While we have seen the Honda CBR1000R in spy shots, the official images reveal the sharper profile with the design language being evolutionary. The Fireblade gets full LED headlights and tail light, while the bike is now narrower by 24mm thanks to the new radiator design. The bike gets a titanium fuel tank and muffler which has helped in weight reduction, while also aiding in improved handing.

Furthermore, you also geta fully touchscreen TFT LCD meter on the 2017 CBR1000RR SP and SP2 get a host of electronic upgrades like throttle-by-wire, quick shift assist,, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) with slide control and wheelie control and Gyro based ABS. The bike comes with a programmable Ohlins Electronic Controlled Suspension system. All the features are shared with the Honda's MotoGP RC213V-S race bike.

The 2017 Honda CBR1000RR SP keeps the focus on power-to-weight ratio and the model now gets a 15 kg weight reduction and weighs 200 kg. The weight reduction (apart from the titanium fuel tank) comes from magnesium engine covers and reduced length of nuts and bolts. The s has been reworked as welll with the balance of the frame tweaked, while the swingarm has been stiffened. Stopping power comes from Brembo brakes.

while power has been uprated by 10bhp to a 186bhp output for an improved top end from the 1000cc in-line four-cylinder engine that is now Euro4 compliant and also gets a revised cam timing. Honda has also brought in a host of electronics on the 2017 CBR1000RR SP and includes with a traction control system and engine braking management, while at the centre of it is a five-axis IMU.

For the first time, the 2017 Honda CBR1000R will be available in the SP2 version that features lightweight Marchesini wheels and redesigned valves, combustion chamber and pistons; a kit will be available to make it ready for the circuit.
