Fiat Linea 125s, the more powerful version of the Italian carmaker's mid-sized sedan, was recently unveiled at the 2016 Auto Expo. Amongst the three Fiat cars to be displayed at the motorshow, the Fiat Linea 125s launch in India is scheduled for Q2, 2016. Other than the sedan, Fiat also launched the Punto Pure and showcased the Urban Cross.
Fiat Linea 125s will utilise the services of a 1.4-litre turbocharged T-Jet petrol unit that develops 123bhp along with 210Nm of maximum torque. The current Fiat Linea is also powered by the same engine albeit in a lower state of tune; it offers 112bhp and 207Nm of peak torque. One must note the Linea 125s will become the most powerful car in the mid-size sedan segment upon its launch in the country.
