The MV Agusta Brutale 1090 is the litre-class street-fighter to come from the Italian motorcycle maker with prices starting from Rs. 19.3 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The powerful beast is known for its overwhelming acceleration levels with a top speed of 265 km/h along with the appreciated Italian looks. The LED DRL equipped headlight cluster is an attention grabber, while the sharp lines are hard to ignore on the model. The Brutale is also deemed as the right companion for the occasional tours and track visits. Powered by a 1078cc in-line four-cylinder engine, the motor produces a whopping 144bhp of power at 10,300rpm and develops 112Nm of torque.
Keeping the MV Agusta Brutale 1090 civil are the host of electronics on board including 8-level traction control system, two-step ABS among other bits. The bike is based on a modular frame with tubular trellis steel section, while a single-sided swingarm is also part of the package. Braking performance comes from the disc brakes at the front and rear with radial calipers. MV Agusta brings the Brutale 1090 to India as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) with the model being sold via the company’s Motoroyale dealerships across the country.
