KTM 390 Adventure Preview
What could also change on the 390 Adventure is the gearing to make it more capable off-road than outright acceleration on tarmac. Expect a decent cruising speed to cover long distances over a day's ride, supported by more range from a slightly larger fuel tank as well. As for other features, we also see the bike with a nice and compact engine guard, slightly forwards-set foot pegs, a pillion seat similar to the 390 Duke, a bit with longer grab rails, and a set of dual-purpose tyres.
The KTM 390 Adventure will take on the BMW G 310 GS and the Royal Enfield Himalayan in the segment with prices expected to be competitive. The 390 Adventure though will be the most affordable adventure touring motorcycle in its segment, and will offer the Indian adventure motorcyclist a value-for-money motorcycle, which will be more suited for touring with some light off-road duty, rather than be a true-blue off-road motorcycle. So, it will be versatile and it promises a lot of value, if priced right.
