Honda Mobilio Preview

Honda Mobilio sits on the same platform that forms base for Brio hatchback and other Honda cars like Amaze and BR-V. The MPV is available in petrol and diesel fuel options mated to a five-speed manual transmission in four variants and top-spec RS trims are powered by the diesel engine only. The RS and RS (O) variants in the line-up get additional kit missing in the rest of the trims.

With prices starting at Rs 7.29 lakh, Honda Mobilio is a seven seat family vehicle available in petrol and diesel guise in manual variants. Sharing underpinnings with Brio, the MPV takes design inspiration from Amaze sedan built on the same platform that underpins Brio hatchback. Inside, the MPV sports three rows, accommodating seven people comfortably. In terms of provisions, the MPV gets an array of features and the top-spec RS variants come equipped with additional goodies.

Honda Mobilio Exterior

Lower down, on the bumper the MPV gets fog lamps enclosed with housing. Other elements such as side skirts in front and rear, chrome embellishment around door handles & rear bumper and tailgate spoiler add to the overall styling.

Honda Mobilio Interior

The seven seat family car comes with three rows, providing comfortable room to passengers seated in third row. There are multiple storage points within cabin like door pockets in front and rear, mobile and glass holder etc. Luggage space can be expanded by folding the third row. Chrome accent around AC vents, steering wheel and wood garnish on door armrest and centre console makes the cabin look upmarket.

Power is sourced from a 1.5 litre, 4 cylinder, SOHC, i-VTEC petrol engine developing 118bhp at 6000rpm and 145Nm at 4600rpm. Diesel variants come armed with Honda’s 1.5 litre DOHC, i-DTEC engine producing 99bhp at 3600rpm and 200Nm at 1750rpm. Both the engines are mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
