Datsun Go-Cross Latest Updates
Datsun showcased the Go Cross subcompact SUV in India at the 2016 Auto Expo. The GO-Cross will initiate Datsun to the growing crossover segment and will also be its flagship model. In fact, from what we know, it'll be under 4 metres and we don't think that the car will see a seven seat configuration like on the GO+ MPV. While the 1.2-litre petrol unit is the same as the one that does duty on the GO hatchback and GO+ MPV, the 1.5-litre dCi diesel will be borrowed from the Nissan Micra.
Moreover, ride height also seems to be raised in tandem with crossover concept. Fascia features hexagonal grille, round shaped fog lamps, LED lights on the lower bumper and skid plate at the bottom of the bumper. Ornate with alloy wheel, flanks are marked by sharp window line. Rear on the other hand gets integrated spoiler, skid plate and body cladding on bumper. Power is likely to be generated by the same 1.2 litre engine which does duty in the Go+ MPV.
