Cleveland CycleWerks (CCW) is a US-based motorcycle company headquartered in Ohio and was started by Scott Colosimo and Jarrod Streng in 2009. Its bikes are sold in over 23 countries globally with India being its newest market. CCW made its India debut at the 2018 Auto Expo and has tied up with Laish Madison Werks Pvt. Ltd. for the assembly and sale of its motorcycles. The company has started its operations with two motorcycles - Cleveland CycleWerks Ace Deluxe and the Cleveland CycleWerks Misfit - and plans to add a few more to its line-up in due time. This includes a custom bobber and a scrambler-styled offering. CCW bikes are imported as kits from China, which are then assembled at the company's plant in Wakdewadi, Maharashtra. At present, only six to seven per cent of local content goes into these bikes. Cleveland CycleWerks India has dealerships operational in Mumbai, Chennai and Mizoram, and will add showrooms in Indore, Salem, Hosur, Coimbatore among other locations in the weeks to come. The company plans to set up about 30 dealerships pan India by 2020.
