The Aprilia Storm 125 is a variant based on the Aprilia SR 125, but has somewhat different styling and new colours. The Storm 125 gets matte-finish colours with different decals, different wheels, and tyres that are ever so slightly off-road biased. It helps to give it a butch character. In essence, the Storm is targeted more towards a male audience where the appeal of the regular SR125 is universal.
The Apriia Storm 125 is powered by the same 125 cc engine of the Aprila SR 125, which produced 9.5bhp of maximum power and 8.2Nm of torque transferring power to the rear wheel via a CVT gearbox. The Aprilia Storm 125 is built on a tubular steel frame. A telescopic fork at the front and a single coil spring at the rear makes up for suspension duties while braking is handled by a 220mm disc at the front and a 140mm drum at the rear. It shares the all-analogue instrumentation with the regular SR125.
