Post WWI, BMW was forced to stop producing aircraft engines. Five years later, the company started producing motorcycles and subsequently got interested in producing 4 wheelers. A driver in a BMW M4 Coupe has claimed a new Guinness World Record for completing the most donuts around a car driving on two wheels in one minute. The record breaking attempt was completed earlier this month in Chongqing, China.
We've heard so much about wearable technology becoming a hindrance when you drive a car as it may prove to be a distraction. However, BMW has found a different way of looking at their cars. The company has started a pilot project which aims to determine whether or not wearable technology can improve the quality of their cars.
German luxury carmaker BMW has rolled out its 40,000th locally assembled vehicle in India, from its manufacturing facility in Chennai. The honour of being the 40000th vehicle to roll off the assembly line went to a white BMW 5 Series.
The 3rd generation which made its global debut towards the end of 2013 sports the new bolder face with the kidney grille getting wider and bigger. But having said that the car doesn't look too heavy up front, because unlike the X3 where remember thinking the bumper looks too heavy, this one has been broken up a little bit.
