Goodbye South America, you'll be sorely missed.

We Hate to Say Goodbye!
And now it's a wrap for this leg of the ‪#‎GLAadventure journey.

And what better way to end it than an afternoon with a bunch of enthusiasts' drag racing evos and seeing the Panama Canal.

Mar 10, 2016
It's not been an easy trip at all but that's what makes for great stories. Isn't it true? Someday, some time we all will be laughing our guts out over all that happened to us on this amazing journey.

Mar 10, 2016
And now our cars are stuck in David which is 7 hours away from Panama City.

Mar 10, 2016
#GLAadventure’s Troubles Aren’t Over Yet!
The Minister of Transport forgot to sign the permit papers and now is unreachable as he is at the President's relative's funeral who died in a car accident. We can't believe our luck!

Mar 10, 2016
Someone is definitely not happy with us out there! The cars bear marks of their wounds during the journey to Panama.

Mar 09, 2016
And here come our superstars..

Mar 09, 2016
Finally Reunited With the GLA and our support car the GL
We missed our companions in Costa Rica.

Mar 09, 2016
Given our state at the borders, this is our state of mind - it's easier to go to the moon then to cross the Central America border by road with camera equipment.

Mar 09, 2016
Here are some sights and sounds we caught at the borders.

Mar 09, 2016
Our border crossing adventure - Indian Embassy has given us the authority letters to move out of Costa Rica and get in to the Panama country.

Mar 09, 2016
Our Last Border Encounter
Argh! Finally the last border crossing in Central America - The Panama-Costa Rica Border.

Mar 09, 2016
For all the petrohead like us, there's nothing that beats the vroom of these classic racing cars!

Mar 09, 2016
At the Famous La Guacima Racetrack
Here we met with Carlos Rodriguez, one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the country and a passionate racing car driver. He is the former owner of Autodrome The Guácima and reintroduced racing in Costa Rica by buying the La Guacima Race Track in 80s-90s.

Mar 09, 2016
Breakfast on the Beach
The spectacular view of the Caribbean beach - It's hard for us to believe that something this wonderful is right here in front of us.

Mar 07, 2016
When in Puerto Viejo's do what the locals do - dance away the night.

Mar 07, 2016
And now it's time to give our rumbling tummy something to gorge on! We are trying the famous Caribbean Red Snapper.

Mar 07, 2016
When in Doubt, Go Surfing
The waves are waiting for us and we shall go!

Mar 07, 2016
This place has some weird parking spots too!

Mar 07, 2016
The way our luck has been in Costa Rica so far, we wouldn't be surprised if this guy came to life and chased us to Panama. No Kidding!

Mar 07, 2016
A Day at the Sloth Sanctuary, Puerto Viejo
The Sloth Sanctuary basically strives towards improvement in sloth research and conservation and is being run by one big family.

Mar 07, 2016
Costa Rica, slowly you are finding a special place in our hearts! We are at the beautiful town of San Jose.

Mar 07, 2016
Things were getting quiet stressful on this leg of the drive, so we decided to make a quick stop at Puerto Viejo and soak in the best of Caribbean.

Mar 07, 2016
Time To Slow Down a Little and Fight the Stress!
Mar 07, 2016
A View of the Ocean Can Make Anything Better
Cars stuck at customs, one of our team's member passport and equipment stolen, long and sleepless nights at border crossings can tire most, but these views of the Pacific Ocean keeps us going.

Mar 07, 2016
Just When We Thought, Things Couldn't Get Worse!
One hour after procuring the rental cars, when the crew stopped for lunch, the cars were broken into, in a crowded parking lot in Liberia Costa Rica.

The bad news - Our camera bag and sound equipment is stolen. The camera bag had our camera man's passport.

Mar 07, 2016
Next day, we decided to truck our cars to the Panama border and hire some rental cars for our drive in Costa Rica.

Mar 07, 2016
Time for Decisions
First things first - It's time to get some sleep. We decided to leave our cars in the customs compound and come back the next morning to fight for a good reason.

We made a quick stop at La Cruz, a hotel in Costa Rica.

Mar 07, 2016
Dear Bad Luck, Let’s Just Break Up!
Defeated by another border crossing! As per the new law of Costa Rica, enacted on the day #GLAadventure reached its borders, RHD (Right Hand Drive) cars are not allowed into the country.

We had no clue about this law; as a result we got a real shock at the border and literally spent the night under the sky to figure out a backup plan.

Mar 07, 2016
And then we decided to take our partners in crime for a spin too...

Mar 04, 2016
And this is how we made our way down...

Mar 04, 2016
First we made our way up...with some effort.

This is how this place looked like 1,600 years ago.

Mar 03, 2016
Time to check out the famous Hieroglyph staircase - A structure depicting the history of Copan.

This hieroglyphic staircase contains over 1250 blocks of stone with 2200 hieroglyphs. What makes this interesting is, this is the single longest stone carved text ever found in the ancient America. Every step on the stairway is engraved with Maya texts describing the history of Copán.

Mar 03, 2016
The details in these carvings is quite enchanting. It's all done in stone, there's no evidence of any metal used in construction by the Mayans.

Mar 03, 2016
All Things Colourful!
Apart from the rich history, you are likely to meet these beautiful Macaws. Hello there from #GLAadventure!
